**Position Summary**

The Labourer performs all necessary general labour tasks, mainly pulling cable and trenching.

**Job Responsibilities/Duties**
- Perform general labour tasks including pulling cable, digging trench, moving material
- Assist in ground work installations, wiring & testing.
- Maintain tools and equipment in ready-for-service condition.
- Work cooperatively with other team members on technical issues and troubleshooting.
- Comply with railway and PNR safe work practices and signal work procedures.
- Other Duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- 1-2 years of experience in Construction or General Labour
- Able to work night shift
- Previous Railway Construction experience an asset
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Minimum G2 License is required

**Physical Requirements**
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Exposure to live track/trains and high voltage.
- Work is safety sensitive and protective equipment is required.
