**Job Title: Hotel Maintenance / Handy-person**
**Company: Best Western PLUS Mission City Lodge**
**Location: Mission, BC**

Are you a skilled handy person? Are you looking for a dynamic work environment with flexible hours? Best Western PLUS Mission City Lodge is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the hotel property.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and maintenance emergencies.
- Conduct repairs and troubleshooting for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
- Inspect and maintain all hotel equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Assist with preventive maintenance programs to prolong the life of hotel equipment and facilities.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and support overall hotel operations.
- Light janitorial duties as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in maintenance, preferably in a hotel or similar environment.
- Proficiency in carpentry and plumbing highly preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or training in maintenance-related fields are a plus.
