**Position Summary**

We’re looking for a skilled **Facility Maintenance Technician** to join our team and help keep our building systems running smoothly. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across a range of systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general facility upkeep. Your work helps ensure a safe, functional, and efficient environment for everyone who uses our space.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and repair on facility systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, etc.)
- Respond quickly to maintenance requests and service issues to reduce downtime
- Inspect interior and exterior areas regularly for safety or maintenance concerns
- Operate equipment such as Skyjacks and forklifts as needed for maintenance tasks
- Work at heights safely when accessing elevated areas or equipment
- Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and supply inventory
- Ensure work complies with safety regulations, company standards, and building codes
- Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs or facility projects
- Support energy-saving initiatives and help implement cost-effective building solutions
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces and tool areas

**Qualifications**

**Education & Experience**:

- High school diploma or GED required
- Trade school certification or technical training
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facility maintenance or a similar role

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Solid understanding of building systems: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various indoor/outdoor conditions
- **Forklift training, Skyjack training, and working at heights training**
