QA Analyst

Reporting to the Research & Development, working out of our Montreal, Quebec location, as a QA Analyst, you will actively participate in our research and development initiatives as well as the design and development of our current platform. You will have technical ownership for your functional areas and understanding of customer problems and how they can be turned into solutions, and will be engaged in the research, development, delivery, 3rd line support and systems maintenance processes. The incumbent will also play a key role in assisting other areas of the organization in the successful configuration of message exchanges between its customers.

**Responsibilities**

Your responsibilities will be situated in the following domains:

- Key member of the core Software Development team creating and supporting platform of software products and services (Federated Applications Suite and Fully Managed Web Services).
- Design, implement and execute testing tasks - requiring planning, scheduling and testing to assure that developed products meet design specifications.
- Validate software product releases in accordance with expected behaviors and report findings
- Analyze requirements, design document software components using scrum and other agile development methodologies.
- Setup and installation of test environments
- Report on overall compliance and quality performance metrics.
- Design and build automated test scripts (a plus)
- Participate into the design of our innovative solutions that can solve complex problems in the real-time, high volume transactional multi-tenant environment.
- Work with cross-product, cross-functional teams in a cutting-edge technical environment, constantly pushing the envelope.

**Requirements**:

- Solid Analytical and documentation skills (think outside the box).
- Basic Understanding of XML and of SQL languages.
- Good experience with Agile methodology and DevOps Testing.
- Experience in real-time, high volume transactional systems/services.
- Passionate, innovative, strong sense of accountability and ownership.
- Strong focus on quality, reliability, sustainability, and scalability.
- Strong customer satisfaction orientation and showing real interest in and enthusiasm about modern software development.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Team player.
