**JOB SUMMARY**
The Project Coordinator assists the Project Manager by providing administrative support to ensure that project specifications, budgets, and timelines are met effectively.
**OBJECTIVES and RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure project deadlines are met in a timely manner
- Assist in planning, organizing, and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget
- Ensure clients' needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Provide support in planning and preparing construction schedules and milestones and monitoring progress against established schedules
- Assist in the preparation of contracts and negotiating revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with clients and subcontractors
- Ensure project adheres to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
- Assist in the preparation of progress reports and issuing progress schedules to clients
- Support with recruitment and management of project staff and contractors
**REQUIRED SKILLS and PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering and/or equivalent experience in civil or mechanical construction in the oil & gas industry may be considered
- PMP designation considered an asset
- CSTS, First Aid and H2S Alive (ESC) are required
- Experience coordinating a single large project or several projects simultaneously
- Working knowledge of contracts and contract management
- Experience managing Unit Rate, Lump Sum and T&M Contracts projects
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize various tasks with conflicting deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and timelines
- Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude
- Superior written and verbal communication skills in English
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft word, Excel, and scheduling software (MS Projects, P6, Excel)
- Must be immediately eligible/able to work in Canada
- Able to successfully pass pre-employment alcohol & drug test (including cannabis)
**TRAVEL & SCHEDULE**
- Willing to travel and stay in camp accommodation.
