Quartz Gallery, A Cambria Certified Installation Associate, currently has an opening for an AutoCAD Drafter

**CAD Position Summary**:
This position is responsible for measuring cabinets, vanities, and other structures for the purpose of installing Quartz
Surfaces and preparation of AutoCAD drawings.

**Minimum Requirements**:
Education: Post-secondary education in estimating and architectural drafting preferred
Experience: Experience in kitchen and bath design, layout, quoting, and/or sales are preferred
Systems: Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Estimate and create commercial quotes
- Complete follow-up calls with customers
- Interact with homeowners, designers and contractors
- Enter measurements into AutoCAD, verify against the order
- Coordinate daily schedule
- Understand worksite conditions for safety
- Assist with installation of Quartz Surfaces as needed
- Perform additional duties as requested by management

Qualifications & Skills:

- Knowledge of the construction industry preferred
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Excellent math skills (geometry)
- Estimating skills
- Architectural drafting skills
- Ability to understand architectural blueprints
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
- Superior organizational skills, as well as the ability to maintain focus under pressure
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal &; external parties
- Ability to adhere to a rigid daily schedule
- Ability to work extended hours as needed

Travel Requirements: Ability to travel to job sites as required

Must be able to work in a variety of environments, including new construction sites, homes, commercial buildings, and office environments.

Hours of work are Monday - Friday 8.00 am-4.30 pm with a ½ unpaid lunch.
