Mould Maker

**Responsibilities**
Injection Mould construction and repairs.

Focus on detailed fit / function and assembly.

Incorporate engineering changes, repairs and maintenance.

Precision grinding for dimensional accuracy.

**Qualifications**

Injection Mould experience is an asset.

CNC programming and machining would be an asset.

Knowledge of machine shop tools.

Good mathematical skills.

The ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Use of Vertical Manual and CNC Milling Machines, Lathes, Surface Grinders.

Use of hand tools, micrometers, calipers, gauges and indicators.

Crane and Lift truck experience is an asset.

Minimum 2 years work experience in an industrial environment is preferred.

Ability to work with others and follow instructions with mínimal supervision is a must.

**Summary**

As a Mould Maker / Tool Maker / Machinist, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and expertise in machining to create precise tools and moulds. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will read blueprints and schematics, operate CNC machinery, and employ hand tools to ensure high-quality assembly and fabrication. Your proficiency in CNC programming and CAD software, along with your skills in using micrometers and calipers, will be essential in meeting production goals and maintaining safety standards. Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- mouldmaking or tool and die: 1 year (preferred)
