Flagman

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Direct traffic safely around construction zones using flags, signs, and verbal commands.
- Monitor and assess traffic patterns to ensure the safety of both workers and motorists.
- Communicate effectively with team members and equipment operators to coordinate work activities.
- Set up and dismantle traffic control devices as needed.
- Maintain a clear understanding of site safety protocols and enforce them consistently.
- Assist in the operation of heavy equipment when required, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Report any hazards or incidents to supervisors promptly.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Flagman or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of traffic control procedures and safety regulations.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver’s license may be required depending on job location and duties.
- Willingness to undergo training related to safety protocols and equipment operation as necessary.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
