**ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT**:
The purpose of the role is develop and standardize HR data and reporting to provide analytical and innovative approaches to a broad range of HR data to influence our people priorities. This role will work with the HR team to prioritize work and establish a strong partnership with our internal partners, IT, Finance & Payroll and Records Management, to ensure clear governance in how value is delivered to the end users with the goal of providing an amazing employee experience.

**MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- HR systems administration, including oversight on data for accuracy and maintenance
- Work closely with the HR team to administer and support all HR system technologies and enhancements that improve HR operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide support within HR for standard quarterly, annual or other organizational and legislative reports as well as the creation of Dashboards and Analytics in alignment with organizational priorities
- Access, gather, and analyze data from internal and external sources
- Developing, documenting, and maintaining all current and new HRIS business process workflows for efficiency and compliance
- Acts as a liaison between Human Resources, Information Technology, Benefits, and Payroll to support HR projects and operations and identify areas of improvement
- Support projects associated with HR analytics, organization wide
- Documenting requirements for process improvement, enhancements, new software, and strategic initiatives
- Work with pension administrator to resolve employee inquiries and estate resolution
- Benefit Administration
- Quarterly Sick Usage to benefits Consultants & Census data reporting
- Process Life and AD&D claims, reporting and updating premium rates
- Complete Third Party Survey requests - Compensation, Employment Equity, Benefits

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, or related field or a combination of equivalent education and experience
- A post-graduate diploma in Human Resources would be an asset
- 2-3 years’ experience working with HRIS systems & Administration
- Experience with benefit administration
- Experience working in a unionized setting would be an asset
- High performing, pragmatic, detail oriented person with strong quantitative analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience with process improvement cycles
- Strong attention to detail and analytic skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to exercise appropriate levels of discretion and confidentiality
- Must be committed to company health and safety
