Batch Mixer

We have an opportunity for a Batch Mixer to join our staff to meet the demands of our growing business.

**About You**: If you're the right person for this job, then you are familiar with a manufacturing environment and have mixing experience. You work well within a team and can follow directions and adhere to production and safety policies well. You are self-motivated, a hard worker, responsible and reliable. You are looking for long-term, full-time employment.

The Mixer is responsible for the safe operation of manufacturing machines and reports to the Production Line Supervisor. They will be responsible for the following tasks:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assure that equipment and tools are used according to the manufacturer's specifications.
- Follow the Work Order instructions to the letter.
- Perform clean-out procedures before every new batch.
- Notify Production Supervisor of machine trouble and low inventory of components as needed.
- Always maintain a clean work environment.
- Adhere to and enforce safety requirements on and around machinery as instructed.
- Perform safe operation of the forklifts.
- Perform any other duties as required by the Production Supervisor.

**Qualifications/Skills**:

- Must have at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must have at least 1 year of mixing experience
- Must speak, read, and write English.
- Must possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Must be able to work independently and with a team.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must possess a sense of organization and be able to work on a set schedule.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Attention to detail is required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.90-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
