Currently we are recruiting for LVN’s for long-term contracts at correctional facilities in the San Francisco area. If you have at least one full year of licensed LVN experience then we want to talk to you

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide direct nursing care to individuals within the correctional facility.
- Assess and address the healthcare needs of inmates, including monitoring vital signs and conducting routine health checks.
- ** Medication Administration**:

- Administer medications as prescribed, adhering to established protocols and ensuring accurate documentation of dosage and frequency.
- ** Health Assessments**:

- Conduct health assessments to identify and address medical issues, collaborating with physicians as needed.
- ** Emergency Response**:

- Respond promptly to medical emergencies within the correctional facility, providing immediate care and coordinating with the healthcare team.
- ** Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
- ** Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, registered nurses, and mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- ** Patient Education**:

- Educate inmates on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies to promote overall well-being.

**Qualifications**:

- Current and valid LVN license in the state of CA.
- BLS
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
