**Young Electric is hiring **We are looking for 2+ year Apprentices**

Our electricians go above and beyond to ensure a job well done. We aim to inform our clients on solutions that work for them within their budget. Young Electric is always looking to provide long term solutions to the obstacles our clients face.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Construction and Maintenance 309A Electrical Apprentice License
- Active member, in good standing with Ontario College of Trades
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints (commercial and residential)
- Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
- Must be able to properly install a variety of conduit (surface mounted and underground)
- Must be able to pull and terminate a variety of wire and cabling
- Must be able to test and troubleshoot a variety of electrical systems and equipment
- Solar and generator experience are an asset
- Must be able to work independently, be motivated to produce high quality and neat electrical installations
- Must have own tools to effectively install electrical systems and components
- Must have current Working at Heights Certification

**Job Duties**:

- Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations (Residential and Commercial)
- Test and inspect electrical components and systems to ensure a safe and effective installation. Free of hazards and be able to mitigate the chance of malfunctions
- Accurately rough in electrical devices and components ap per drawing specifications and/or client requests
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in accordance with appropriate codes (Canadian/ Ontario Electrical Safety Code)
- Be respectful at all times and keep a clean and organized job site at all times
- Any other duties as requested

**Wage**:

- To be negotiated based on experience.

**Job Type**:

- Full-time, Permanent

**Schedule**:

- 8 - 10 hour shifts
- Monday to Friday

**Licence**:

- Valid class G Drivers Licence (required), with a clean driving record

**Salary**: $22.00-$29.00 per hour
