The Opportunity

Now is your chance to join the largest, most recognized cannabis producer in the country as we set off to build something amazing, relying on established but ever-evolving brands. The Manufacturing Laboratory Technician (ER1) will be responsible for the general operation of the equipment. The technician will assist in sanitization control and safely operating the associated machinery. Strong attention to detail, initiative, working knowledge of machinery and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential to this role. Production operations are in a clean room, which will require maintaining work standards for quality and production performance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up, tear down, and cleaning of equipment and rooms
- Identify parts of the equipment
- Identify when equipment is not operating properly
- Operate equipment under supervision only
- Perform all documentation related to above activities
- Weigh ingredients and document accordingly
- Responsible for the quality and accuracy of their work

Tasks
- Qualify on site and department safety
- Remain current on and adhere to all relevant Standard Operating and Work Instructions
- Work in compliance with all established safe work practices, SOPs, Work Instructions and procedures
- Meet expectations in all areas of attitude, attendance, and performance
- Proficiency in all room cleaning related tasks
- Conduct ATP swabs under supervision
- Understand 5S and your role in it
- Report issues relating to production or process to Supervisor and Manager
- Adhere to production and manufacturing schedules
- Maintain batch production records in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Follow instructions on orders to manufacture products within company specifications and batch records
- Quality Control testing of in-process materials and finished product
- Run analytical equipment, perform analysis of experimental data and report results
- Keep up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments
- Conduct autonomous maintenance on production equipment, including cleaning, disassembly and reassembling on key items
- Ensuring all associated equipment is in a good state of repair
- Troubleshoot equipment production issues
- Maintain strict inventory control over all input materials and finished product
- Epsilon data entry
- SAGE ERP Basic user
- Submit IT tickets
- Submit FIXX tickets
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts
- Other duties as assigned

Experience
- Preferred Post Secondary education in the science field
- Experience performing tests, analyzing experimental data, and documenting results
- Experience in GLP, GMP, ISO 9001 or ISO 17025 environment
- Experience with supercritical CO2 extraction is considered an asset
- Experience in manufacturing of narcotics or precursors considered an asset
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to keep an accurate inventory in real-time
