Comco is currently looking to fill vacant **Material Handler **positions for:

- 2 positions for Day shift (8:00am to 4:30pm)

**Position Summary**

Reporting to the Assistant Operations Manager, as the Material Handler you will be directly responsibility for the picking and packaging of warehouse orders based on sales orders, work orders, and customer requirements. The Material Handler must understand the impact of this position to other business functions that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of warehouse operations.

**2. Due to the location of our facility having your own transportation is ideal.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safely picks, packages, and tags products according to sales orders, in a timely manner:

- Load, unload, and move products by hand or mobile equipment;
- Verify and visually inspect product;
- Record product heat numbers, manufacturers, and quantities;
- Ensure product is properly identified and packaged for shipping.
- Communicate any product overages, shortages, or errors directly to the Foreman;
- Assist in resolving problems when required;
- Ensure warehouse is free of debris and hazards;
- Participate in clean-up and pre-inspection of equipment;
- Assist in annual inventory;
- Participate in On-Call / OT hours, as required.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**:High School Diploma
- **Work Experience**:0 -3 years related experience
- Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift
- Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
- Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques
- Basic mathematical skills
- Must be able to carry and move product and/or supplies of 50lbs
- Physical effort requiring manual dexterity;
- Undergo a pre-employment medical and drug evaluation (including cannabis).
