**Job Summary**

Personal Support Services and Respite Services are currently in place on a regular basis to assist with personal care and to provide respite relief.

The salary is based on a daily (24) hour rate, not an hourly rate.

Successful applicants will be asked to provide a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check and employment and personal references.

**Duties**
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being.
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers regarding client needs and progress.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in caregiving, senior care, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with meal preparation and dietary considerations for seniors.
- Experience in hospice care or nursing home settings is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Ability to follow instructions from nurses or healthcare professionals effectively.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.

**Job Type**: Part-time
