Saw Operator

_**Job Offer - SAW OPERATOR**_

Specialists in wood roof trusses, floor joist, and engineered products for residential, commercial, and agriculture construction projects, Island Structural Systems Inc. is looking for a dynamic person to fill the position of _**Saw Operator**_.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Skilled operator to safely and accurately operate highly technical machinery
- Lift, gather and move lumber, and other materials
- Take measurements and cut lumber to design specifications
- Responsible for basic maintenance on equipment
- Ensure material is cut accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
- Accepts other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
- Operate other equipment as required

- Ability to work steadily in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and meet deadlines
- Able to do physical work in varying temperatures
- Ability to work in a team environment

- Experience using tape measure, hammer, and power tools is required
