Custom Software Solutions Inc. (CSSI) is one of the fastest-growing automation software suppliers to the Canadian Insurance Industry. CSSI currently employs over 125 staff members, consisting of insurance industry professionals, certified computer technologists and programmers, trained support staff, and certified general accountants. The combination of insurance experience and technological expertise has enabled this team to develop and market a user-friendly automation system that considers all aspects of a working brokerage. CSSI provides end-to-end information technology solutions to brokerage offices across Canada.
**Who You Are**
**What You’ll Do**
- Take ownership of underwriting tickets, providing specialized support to clients within our system.
- Proactively engage with clients to address their concerns, provide updates on support-related matters, and foster client loyalty.
- Maintain thorough record-keeping for ticket/task updates.
- Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team to troubleshoot problems.
- Prioritize and multitask to meet deadlines and ensure efficient workflow, and client satisfaction.
- Assist with software usability and testing by reporting issues and collaborating with the development team.
**What You’ll Need**
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role in a software company, preferably within the insurance technology space.
- Prior experience as an underwriter or broker, or familiarity with insurance and technical aspects of the industry.
- Technical savviness, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to quickly grasp new software systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
