Established multi-site Childcare Operator seeks an FDK/SA Lead RECE at our Tumpane Child Care Centre location for a Contract Position. **Position**: Contract - Part-Time - Split Shift **Qualifications and Requirements**: - Early Childhood Education Diploma or Equivalency - Registered and in Good Standing with The College of Early Childhood Education - Current certification in Standard First Aid and CPR - AED Level C - Current and Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) - Complete Toronto Public Health Medical and Immunization requirements **Skills Required**: - Warm and Energetic individual who has the ability to work with Children of all ages, experience with ** age group is an asset. - Must possess strong initiative and organizational skills and have a positive attitude - Dependable and Flexible - arrives on time and ready to commence work as scheduled - Communicate effectively and professionally with Children, Staff and Parents, ICSG Management, and any other Governing Agencies - Must have general knowledge of Childcare Operations and an ability to comply with all the requirements from CCEYA/AQI/TPH/ICSG [incl. TDSB Policies and Procedures for sites located in TDSB] - Able to work independently with mínimal supervision, as well as in a team environment. - Has the ability to implement an Early Childhood Program as per requirements set out by governing agencies - Maintain Room control with positive Behaviour Management Strategies - Ability to plan and implement a program **Assets**: - Working Knowledge of the Lillio Application (Parent Portal) - Experience with laptop/tablet use to program and record Children’s profiles **Hours of work**: - Centre Hours of Operation are 7:00am - 6:00pm - Split Shift > During the School Year: 7:00-9:00a.m. and 3:00-6:00p.m. [5 hours per day] - During Summer, P.A.
