ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Oversee and coach employees.
- Adheres to and promotes all safety guidelines and company standards.
- Ensures that work area is clean and free of hazardous materials.
- Reports issues or problems to the Production Supervisor and/or Plant Manager.
- Training new hires and cross training tenured employees.
- Immediately remedies mechanical breakdowns if possible, and/or reports any mechanical breakdowns to Maintenance personnel.
- Able to assess production needs, with the skills to physically demonstrate the job duties of the production worker, while managing the team.
- Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
- Check production output according to specifications.
- Identify Issues in efficiency and suggest/make improvements.

- Must have previous production experience.
- Experience in using various types of machinery and tools.
- Organizational and leadership abilities.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Understand the Progressive Discipline progress and utilize it to improve employee performance.
WORK AVAILABILITY
- Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance according to company guidelines.
- Must be available and willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
