**Who are we looking for?**

Cannabis Pit Stop is actively seeking full-time & part-time “Budtenders” who are self-motivated, eager to learn, and outgoing individuals interested in joining our team. Join us and become an important piece of a company leading the cannabis industry by example.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all individuals within the store are of legal age
- Manage your own point of sale (POS) terminal, and all accompanying cash/debit/credit transactions
- Create an educational and informative experience for all customers, regardless of their experience with cannabis or any cannabis derivatives. In-house training will be provided.
- Recommend products appropriate for customer needs/criteria (cannabis flower, seeds, oil, edibles, cannabis accessories, etc.)
- Help manager and co-workers open/close at the beginning or end of shifts, following Cannabis Pit Stop standard operating procedures
- Report any suspicious behaviours or abusive customers to immediate supervisor
- General housekeeping of store spaces (vacuum / sweep sales floor area, wipe down counters & display cabinets, back of house, etc.)

** Adhere to store policies regarding COVID-19 sanitation and safety protocols **

**Qualifications**:

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Current or eligible for SellSafe Retail Certification
- Valid or eligible for QCW Certification (criminal background check required)
- Experience in a cannabis retail setting is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to compute basic mathematical problems
- Desire to educate guests and the community about the benefits associated with cannabis use

**Job Types**: Part-time, Full-time
Part-time hours: 16-40 per week

**Salary**: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
