Toronto, Canada Oakdale Child and Family Service Full time

Responsibilities include:

- To work as part of a team in a residential program
- Supervision and monitoring of clients; fulfill overnight awake responsibilities of supervision and monitoring of all clients; hourly reporting (written and phone call-ins)
- Behaviour Management
- Assist clients with daily routines and personal care
- Administer medication as needed
- Household duties (ie. cleaning, laundry, meal prep, etc)
- Data collection and documentation
- Participate in all scheduled staff training programs
- Shift work includes hours between 9 pm-9 am, including weekend rotation (MUST be able to stay until 9 am)

Qualifications/Experience:

- Post-secondary certificate in DSW, CYW, SSW, or equivalent and/or related University degree/ experience
- Knowledge and experience in Mental Health, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Developmental Challenges
- Ability to be an effective liaison with outside parties as required
- Demonstrate a caring, nurturing, respectful, non-judgmental attitude
- Good interactive/ communication skills (verbal and written)
- Good organization and time management skills
- Experience in medication administration an asset
- Class ‘G’ Driver’s License would be beneficial

**2 positions are weekends only (Fri-Sun
- 12 hour shifts; 2 positions are a combination of weekday & every 2nd weekend
- varying shifts)-
