**What you will do**:
- The maintenance technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems to support the achievement of our goals and objectives.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings with no supervision.
- To ensure the good execution of the maintenance activities in all aspects at the facility.
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust.
- Assist with outsourcing work for major breakdowns and equipmentupgrades to speciality trades.
- Must be able to operate all machine shop equipment effectively.
- Must be able to be on call during off shift hours for major breakdowns.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and building.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- A technician of maintenance is directly responsible for development and implementation of maintenance processes to maintain proper equipment and machinery functionality as well as cost efficiency; is responsible for the spare part control inventory to ensure the equipment maintenance process.
- Analyze mechanic parts required for maintenance performance, use of equipment, material, and personnel.
- Support all current equipment and new machinery and process introductions.
- Must be able to work independently, and in a team environment.
- Assist and instruct helpers performing related job functions.
- Follow Occupational Health and Safety and company policies and procedures
**What we need**:
- 4+ years of manufacturing experience; electric, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical skills.
- High school diploma/GED
- Great communication and listening skills

Physical Demands:
- This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Position type and expected hours of work: This is a full-time day shift position. Hours of work are 5 days during the week / 42.5 hours per week. 7am - 4pm.
