**Your Primary Responsibilities**:
**Operation of Drilling Rig**: Safely and effectively operate a B57 drilling rig mounted on a Volvo White Truck. This includes setting up the rig, performing drilling operations, and ensuring the rig is functioning correctly.

**Site Preparation and Maintenance**: Prepare drilling sites for operation, including setting up equipment and ensuring the area is safe for work. Responsible for the regular maintenance and upkeep of the drilling rig and associated equipment.

**Geotechnical Sampling**: Collect soil, rock, and groundwater samples as per project requirements. This involves drilling to required depths, retrieving samples, and ensuring they are correctly labeled and stored.

**Data Recording (not mandatory)**: Accurately record drilling operations data, including depth, core recovery, sampling intervals, and any unusual soil or rock conditions encountered.

**Health and Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies. This includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, conducting regular safety checks, and reporting any safety incidents or hazards.

**Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other team members, including engineers, site supervisors, and other drilling crew members, to ensure efficient and effective drilling operations.

**Problem-Solving**: Address and troubleshoot any operational issues with the drilling rig, ensuring mínimal downtime and maintaining project schedules.

**Qualifications**:
Experience in operating B57 and similar drilling rigs.
Knowledge of geotechnical drilling techniques and procedures.
Strong mechanical skills to perform maintenance and repairs on drilling equipment.
Ability to read and interpret geological and technical data.
Good physical condition and ability to work in various outdoor conditions.
Strong commitment to safety and ability to work in a team environment.

**Preferred Skills**:
Relevant certifications in drilling operations, geotechnical and environmental fields.
Familiarity with truck-mounted rigs.
First Aid and CPR certification.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 per week
