Part-time

The Ingersoll Cheese & Agricultural Museum consists of 7 buildings located in the greenspace of Centennial
Park in Ingersoll including a replica 19th century cheese factory, agricultural barns, a blacksmith shop,
community museum, Sports Hall of Fame, and the Oxford County Museum School - considered the largest
educational collection in Ontario. We are more than just cheese

**Position Overview **The incumbent will join our existing Museum team and support in providing coverage at

the Museum by providing ours and programming to the public, participate and support special events and other

general duties.
- Greets customers and answers general inquiries at the reception counter and hands out general

information pamphlets.
- Answers incoming calls and directs calls
- Assists with all general office maintenance duties including meeting preparation and clean up.
- As required undertakes filing for the Museum
- Performs any other related duties assigned by her/his supervisor
- Works in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations

**Availability **This is a part-time position entitled to work up to 24 hours in a week. Applicants should be

available to work primarily evenings and weekends.

**Qualifications**
Experience working with the public. Programming may include all ages.
Comfortable using computers and databases.
Current First Aid/CPR level C
A minimum of 16 years of age at time of hire
A positive, engaging enthusiastic attitude. Organized, creative and highly motivated
Able to work on own and in a team environment.

Sector Police Check and First Aid/CPR certification (if not already certified).

**Hourly Wage Rate**: The rate of pay for this position is $16.00
