Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom and lab instruction in accordance with the **NACC PSW curriculum** and **Ontario PSW Training Standards**.
- Supervise and support students during clinical and community placements.
- Develop lesson plans, assessments, and practical demonstrations that meet program learning outcomes.
- Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback, mentorship, and academic guidance.
- Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and reporting records as required by the college and regulatory bodies.

**Qualifications**:

- **Personal Support Worker Certificate** or higher credential in healthcare (e.g., RPN, RN, or equivalent).
- Minimum 1 **years of recent work experience** in a healthcare setting (long-term care, community care, or hospital).
- Teaching experience in adult education or post-secondary settings is an asset (but training can be provided).
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student success and continuous quality improvement.
