**SHIPPER & RECEIVER**

**Summary**

The Shipper Receiver is primarily responsible for taking in inventory, stocking inventory and shipping out parts, accessories or clothing as needed and performing Cycle Counts as needed. Employees in this role are also expected to aid with Parts Department inquiries, covering breaks for the Part Staff and will receive training in parts lookup and sales

**Receive Parts Orders**
- Receive parts orders into inventory.
- Accurately tag parts for service orders, parts orders, and stock products.
- Locate and put away tagged parts to appropriate shelves / locations in parts room.
- Contact customers using text message system or calling when parts are stocked and ready for pick up.
- Provide Service Department the list of parts that arrived for work orders and the small parts.

**Ship Customer Parts**
- Verify shipping charges have been applied and paid on invoicing.
- Prepare merchandise for shipment - fill waybill / arrange shipment with preferred courier.
- Mark in the shipping log when parts were called and placed on shipping cart for pick up.
- Add notes to the customer invoice with waybill #, date shipped and the shipping company name.

**Ship Vendor Returns**
- For Vendor returns, before shipping product verify return allocation and pulled product list matches the return PO created.
- Verify shipping charges and print copy of quote for shipping for accounts receivable.
- Prepare merchandise for shipment - fill waybill / arrange shipment with preferred courier.
- Mark in the shipping log when pick up called and placed on shipping cart for pick up.
- Add notes to the PO with the tracking number, date shipped and the shipping company name.

**Purchase Order Follow Up**
- Review Purchase Orders and Purchase Order Returns in all statuses, “Open” “In Work” & “Submitted” with outstanding parts not arrive or awaiting credits.
- Confirm with Vendors whether parts not shipped, are discontinued, back ordered or unavailable and inform appropriate departments if parts are no longer available - adding notes to the PO with date it was checked.
- Confirm with Vendors items awaiting credits - verify why credits have not been sent or if there is a discrepancy between the return - adding notes to the PO with the date it was checked.
- Confirm with Parts team whether old “Open” orders with no notes should be deleted or submitted.
- Substitute parts on POs when needed and cancel Vendor orders when needed.

**Cover Parts Counter**
- Cover calls if the phone rings more than 3 times, taking messages or assisting customers with parts orders while parts team is tied up.

**Inventory**
- While pulling items for orders, or stocking parts verify stock is adequate & accurate.
- Check stock & add suggested orders using “blue cog” function.
- Performing cycle counts of parts sections throughout the year.
- Rotating sections and walls per season.

**Cleaning**
- Sweep out the shipping bay and shipping desk, keeping areas safe and tidy.
- Organize boxes to make room for incoming products.
- Help keep parts room organized, clean and safe - removing parts from floor, as much as possible, organizing wall displays and overstock areas.

Pay: $18.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
