**Duties**

- Collaborate with senior underwriters to discuss findings and make informed recommendations on loan approvals or denials.

- Assist in negotiating terms with applicants when necessary to facilitate loan approvals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance underwriting processes.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform complex calculations accurately.
- Familiarity with financial services and mortgage lending processes is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for data collection and risk assessment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.

- Proficiency in using underwriting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
