- Performs biomechanical. fitness, and functional assessments.
- Work collaboratively with patients to set and achieve their functional goals.
- Carry out fitness training sessions or rehabilitation sessions.
- Guide and educate patients with recommended treatment plans.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals regarding the patient's condition, needs, and progress.
- Document and chart patient’s progress and provide medical information upon request via full access to electronic charting software.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and advancements in the field of kinesiology

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field
- Certification as a Kinesiologist or eligibility for certification
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of common medical conditions
- Experience working in an acute care setting is preferred
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals
- Proficiency in computer operation and electronic medical records systems
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- COQUITLAM, BC V3J 2R5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Kinesiologist: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- BCAK British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (required)
