Are you a seasoned security professional with a background in law enforcement or a related field, looking to take the next step in your career towards becoming a police officer? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you We are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for a University Security Guard position in the Downtown University Campus.

We are seeking individuals with experience in the security industry and a background in law enforcement or related field. Training in use of force and report writing will be considered a bonus. If you do not have these qualifications, training will be provided on-site.

Qualifications:
Valid Security Guard License Current First Aid Certified Minimum three years of Security Guard experience Outstanding communication and writing skills Excellent customer service skills Leadership abilities and management experience Computer literacy Law enforcement/Police Foundations background an asset Use of force training mandatory.

**Responsibilities**:
Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times Supervise and monitor the performance of security guards on the university campus Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the university campus. Maintain access control to protect the personal safety, building, equipment, and all confidential information. Monitor CCTV, fire, and intrusion alarm systems. Assist the university management team as requested. Perform other duties as outlined in the post orders Schedule and supervise security guard shifts. Provide ongoing training and support to security guards. Write and review reports related to security incidents and incidents on campus.

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
