**About Us**
The Shoreline Power Group is a fully integrated Joint Venture of Aecon, United and Atkins Realis located in Kincardine, Ontario. Shoreline Power Group is the centerpiece of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program which replaces the main components of 6 reactors at the Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Station. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of calandria tubes, pressure tubes, and feeders as well as construction management and trade labor. This project is part of Bruce Power’s Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Power’s CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064.
Under the direction of the B72 Training and Facility Superintendent, the B72 Facility General Foreperson will lead the set up and continuous facility requirements to support Training Program for the Bruce Power FCFR Series execution.
**What You'll Do Here**
- Responsible to ensure that all work is conducted in a safe manner in compliance with safety, quality and human performance policies
- Maintain excellent relationships with client, engineers, consultants, subcontractors and public
- Implement Joint Venture and Client policies and project procedures as required
- Review and take off facility documents to create Field Work Packages as part of the planning phase, prior to mobilizing the work force
- Plan, supervise and approve the work of own forces and subcontractors on the project including determining methods of construction, manpower levels, materials, tools & equipment, rentals, and work schedules
- Assume responsibility for productivity of trades and subcontractors, efficient use of materials and equipment and contractual performance of the project
- Ensure trades personnel complete all necessary training in areas of safety, quality assurance, technical qualifications, equipment operation and owner specified requirements
- Ensure project is constructed in compliance with drawings, specifications, Construction Work Packages (CWPs), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and project schedule
- Ensure the work is carried out in accordance with QA Programs and project quality guidelines
- Maintain appropriate field documentation including safety records, daily progress reports, training records, T&E and rental records, manpower reports, owner support requests, FWP documents, etc.
- For the duration of the Training Schedule, maintain the Training Facility set up condition to support the training activities
- Provide work direction to facility support trades and Mock-up crew
- Other duties as assigned
**What You Bring To The Team**:
- 5+ years of construction project experience
- Technical college diploma or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience
- Ability to successfully supervise a construction project
- Knowledge of all aspects of construction such as technology, equipment, methods, trade agreements and jurisdiction, engineering, cost control, scheduling and safety requirements
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project
- Excellent oral and written
