**ACCOUNTS PAYABLE and PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR**

Is required at a long standing, well established mechanical contractor. This is a full-time position and forms part of the finance team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Accounts Payables (including but not limited to):
To perform, maintain, and manage all accounts payable duties including coding and recording all supplier invoices, expense reimbursements, subscriptions and managing prepayments; preparation of bi-weekly cheque runs, reconciling supplier statements, responding to vendor inquiries, liaise with suppliers and internal departments to ensure approvals obtained, and accuracy of invoicing and payment.
- Payroll (including but not limited to):
To be responsible for and to coordinate and process the bi-weekly payroll (120 to 150 employees), managing, entering and reconciling individual payroll, benefits, processing final payments, ROE’s, reconciling all labour and benefits related general ledger accounts and responding to payroll-related inquiries. Administer group benefit plan, and to prepare and reconcile the annual T4/T4A and T2200 slips.

**Required Education and Experience**:

- Post-secondary education in Accounting/Finance;
- A Canadian Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) accreditation is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years payroll and AP experience
- Must have strong technical skills in both AP and PR processing
- Must maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Must have strong organizational skills
