Job Title: Energy Auditor Team Lead

Location: Alberta, Canada

To support our growing client base, we are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Energy Auditor to lead our new division offering ASHRAE Level 1, 2, and 3 energy audits.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and lead the new Energy Auditing division, creating policies, procedures, and methods for conducting ASHRAE Level 1, 2, and 3 energy audits.

Perform comprehensive energy audits, including onsite inspections, data analysis, and energy consumption benchmarking.

Identify and quantify energy conservation opportunities, prioritize projects based on ROI and payback periods, and provide recommendations for energy efficiency improvements.

Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote our energy audit services and acquire new clients.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of energy efficiency best practices, codes, and standards.

Prepare detailed audit reports, including energy usage profiles, energy conservation measures, and financial analysis.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Utilize RetScreen and other software for energy auditing and analysis purposes.

**Requirements**:
Relevant experience in HVAC systems, energy management, or energy auditing.

Knowledge of ASHRAE energy audit standards and procedures.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify energy-saving opportunities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Engineer in Training welcome to apply.

Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) or Certified Energy Manager (CEM) designation, or willingness to obtain these certifications (training will be provided).

Experience with RetScreen energy auditing software.

Familiarity with local, provincial, and federal energy efficiency regulations and incentive programs.

Engineering-in-Training (EIT) status or eligibility to obtain EIT status.

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
