Our award-winning Data Science and Analytics team is looking for a Senior Analyst, Media Analytics to provide consultative assistance to GALE’s account management teams by utilizing your skillset in quantitative analytics such as post-campaign analysis and dashboarding as well as predictive and prescriptive analytics in order to contribute to the expansion of our digital media analytics capabilities and to help drive business results.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Manage analysts in a client-specific setting, directing them to handle reporting tasks and data preparation for broader analysis that you will ow
- Work with planning & channel teams to surface insights and tell the story behind the data to clients & internal stakeholders
- Develop strategic & technical measurement plans to ensure all key client metrics are appropriately & accurately collected, working alongside both strategy & technical teams
- Working with data science teams, and occasionally independently, on advanced media measurement (MMM/MTA/Incremental Lift Studies)
**Who you are**:
- A data storyteller, someone who can synthesize information from media performance models, client business expectations, and an understanding of the audience’s preferences to build presentations & present before clients
- Ability to own client relationships and establish yourself as a source of truth for anything data related
- Advanced SQL experience, ideally working with both aggregated and log-level data
- At least Basic level Python/R experience
- At least 5 years of experience in an Analytics or Business Intelligence role, ideally at a brand, media agency, publisher or adtech firm
- Experience with Google Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or other ad measurement platforms
- Self-starter and a team player with a strategic mindset
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Ability to structure analysis with incomplete or vague direction from clients or other internal teams
**Nice to have**:
- Knowledge of site tags/pixels used to track media conversions (e.g. Floodlight/Gtags)
- Experience with Ads Data Hub or other data clean rooms/privacy protecting query & analysis environments
- Experience with Media Mix Models, Multi-Touch Attribution models, A/B testing, or incremental lift measurement
- Experience with Google Big Query or another data warehouse
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau for reporting and analysis
