**Company Profile**
- Assembly - Building Hydrovacs on prepared chassis, mounting tanks and van bodies and connecting all key systems;
- Chassis Prep - Preparing chassis for building by modifying the frame, driveline, electrical and other key systems;
- Kitting - Building a wide range of subassemblies for inclusion in Hydrovac builds;
- Van Body - outfitting van bodies with water handling, hydraulic, control and other equipment.

**Key Responsibility Areas**
Production:

- Work with care and attention to ensure the production process is free of errors and incidents.
- Work in a variety of areas which may include component assembly, mechanical, electrical or hydraulic assembly.
- Follow instruction from the assigned Lead Hand or Supervisor.
- Assess job hazards and risks and take appropriate measures; use required PPE; follow all safety guidelines; consistently attend to the safety of self, other workers and the workplace.
- Become competent in dealing with a variety of systems including blowers, cooling, driveline, hydraulics, electrical and others as required.
- Become confident in the ability to use required hand tools, power tools and other equipment.
- Build or install parts in an efficient manner in accordance with our Standard Operating Procedures, while meeting quality standards.
- Follow blueprints, diagrams and instructions using standardized practices.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and well-organizes workspace.
- Keep track of parts and ensure that parts are properly accounted for.
- Pay attention to stock levels for consumables and parts stocked on the floor.

**Qualifications**

**Education**:

- Completion of High School.
- Mechanical or Construction courses are desirable.

**Experience**:

- Mechanical or related experience is preferred. Specific on the job training will be provided.
- Manufacturing experience is an asset.

Working Conditions
- Work will be performed in an industrial shop environment. It is a very dusty environment and can be warm in the summer and cold in the winter due to the bay doors opening for parts movement. The work requires an ability to lift heavy objects, and to work in a variety of positions (standing, kneeling, crouching, climbing and underneath vehicles) for long periods of time.
- Proper use of all required Personal Protective Equipment is a requirement of these positions. The employee will provide CSA-approved safety footwear. All other PPE will be provided.

Pay: From $24.56 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
