The Willows Club is looking for **Lounge**Servers in our Irons Kitchen + Patio** to join us for our 2025 golf season

Wondering what a **Lounge** **Server at the Willows**actually does?

**Our Lounge Servers are responsible for the overall dining experience of each guest in our Irons Kitchen + Patio. They play a key role in creating an environment where our guests feel relaxed and welcome. Be yourself, have fun and create a lasting impression whereby every one of our guests can’t wait to come back.**

**Here are a few of the duties to expect**:

- Knowledge of our Irons Kitchen + Patio including all products, menus and promotions - be able to communicate all information in an appealing and informative manner to all guests.
- Knowledge of property including amenities and hours of operation
- Table service: taking orders, answering menu and beverage inquiries, explaining daily features, placing orders with kitchen while following all standards as it pertains to each task
- Processing bills and taking payment
- Handling guest concerns with and without the support of the management team
- Clearing, setting, polishing and cleaning tables, glassware & utensils
- Preparation and cleanliness of the lounge & service stands before, after & during each service
- Proper adherence to all cash handling procedures as outlined in company policies
- Correct use of POS system, adhering to all company standards and policies
- Ensure food is presented with an exceptional level of detail prior to delivering to guests
- Ensure every guest leaves wanting to return by providing a hospitable guest experience
- Give the guest suggestions/recommendations for food & drinks based on their wants or needs
- Perform closing procedures including building walk through and locking main doors
- Provide the same level of service to tables in Willows Club Dining when open on Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings.
- Other tasks as required to properly execute all other duties and responsibilities

**We also think it’s important to know**:

- Must meet minimum provincial age for serving alcohol
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to carry and lift items weighing 20lbs; must be able to stoop and bend
- Must be able to stand and move for extended periods of time to continuously perform essential job functions
- Will require current and valid Serve it Right certification
- Our golf season goes into October; preference will be given to applicants that stay with us to the end of our season and are looking for full time hours.
