We are looking for Host/Hostess (Guest Relations) who will be responsible for ensuring accurate admission, greeting, directing patrons, and helping ensure that patrons have a safe and pleasurable experience. This role is responsible to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests and event attendees as you will act as a liaison between guests and other REAL departments to meet and exceed customer needs.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Greet and direct guests upon arrival, answer guest questions and remaining polished and poised in all guest interactions.
- Scanning tickets and checking for proper credentials when patrons enter the building.
- Assist customers to their seats by giving verbal directions and identifying the general area where the customers’ seats are located.
- Watching for seating problems in assigned area and move to assist the customers.
- Be aware and handle lost items.

**WHAT IT TAKES**
- Grade twelve (12) education.
- Must be nineteen (19) years of age.
- Demonstrated experience in customer service.
- Able to communicate clearly and understandable in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
- Must be ambulatory, physically able to climb stairs and stand for long periods of time.
- This position is an in-scope position under the RWDSU Collective Agreement. Shift start & stop times and scheduled days may be adjusted during course of employment, based on operational requirements.
