Dental Receptionist - Beddington Dental Clinic
**About the Position**:
We are looking for a Dental Receptionist to manage the company’s front desk and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Dental Receptionist responsibilities include greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, and performing administrative tasks as needed. This position is part-time with the ability to work full-time if the position is filled.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Dental office required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in EHR required.
- Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be proficient in using QuickBooks Online.
- Must be proficient in using Google Suite.
- Be able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Be able to prioritize tasks and complete them accurately.
- Be able to adapt to change and meet new challenges.
- Be able to communicate effectively with all types of personnel (customers, patients, staff) and maintain positive working relationships.
- Be able to maintain regular attendance at work.
**Responsibilities**:
- Answer all phone calls from patients and caregivers; take patient appointments, and provide basic information about treatment options/decisions, including financial aid/loan options.
- Greet patients; take new patient histories; fill out necessary paperwork for new patients; schedule patient appointments.
- Check patients in out of practice and schedule patient follow-up appointments. Answer all phone calls from patients/caregivers/family members regarding treatment options/decisions, including financial aid/loan options. Provide information about treatment options/decisions, including financial aid/loan options, to patients or caregivers. Review patient records for accuracy prior to each office visit (e.g., blood pressure, height/belly size). Perform dental extractions when applicable and explain proper procedures to patients during the procedure. Perform dental charting in QuickBooks Online when appropriate and record charting into EHR when applicable. Collect co-pays for co-insurance when applicable (e.g., for denture cases). Maintain office supplies inventory and order supplies as needed (e.g., dental supplies). Assist with other administrative tasks as needed (e.g., filing documents, answering phones).
**Job Type**: Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
