We are accepting resumes for a surveyor on a large irrigation canal and wetland project in Taber Alberta.

Applicant should be physically fit and able to spend long periods of time walking on rough terrain and in all types of weather.

Responsibilities will include:

- care of survey and computer equipment
- safely operating company vehicles
- reading and understanding project specifications and design drawings
- setting up survey instruments like gps, lasers, and total stations
- loading engineered provided linework and surface data onto field instruments
- survey layout for earthworks, precast, or cast in place structures
- data collection and processing for as-built drawings and site progress payments
- calculations for field fit situations

This project is starting immediatley. On the job traiing will be provided, but preference will be given to applicants with Topcon GPS and Civil 3D experience.

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lethbridge, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
