Cleaner/janitor

**Job Overview**

hiring 1 fulltime cleaner for Monday - Friday 7am-3pm and 1 part time weekend cleaner for Saturday and Sunday 9am-1:30pm

starting wage is $18.00/hour for 37.5 hours a week for the fulltime. 7 hours a week on the weekends.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Conduct floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to ensure floors are well-maintained.
- Handle commercial cleaning responsibilities in various settings including offices, restrooms, and common areas.
- Assist with custodial tasks that may include emptying trash receptacles, cleaning windows, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning tasks.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

**Qualifications**
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is required.
- previous experience cleaning in a hospital, or senior home is required.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is an advantage.
- Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning settings is required
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
