Here are the responsibilities - the “seeds” of the position (See what I did there? Yes, it was a bit of a stretch, maybe a bit “nutty”.)

You will be the go-to person for the full Procure-to-Pay inventory management cycle which will include but not be limited to:

- Executing basic purchasing tasks related to handling purchase requisitions, purchase orders, quotations, and other associated purchasing and vendor-management activities
- Creating and monitoring orders (Purchasing and Manufacturing) from placement to delivery
- Performing Accounts Payable functions: 3-way match, G/L coding and ERP Entry (because this is important too and we like to add variety in our roles)
- Executing vendor surveys and qualify vendors
- Sourcing MRO items and raw materials
- Engaging in inventory analysis including cycle counting and root-cause analysis
- Maintaining inventory records such as receipts and issues
- Completing production scheduling, inventory control, and material-planning duties
- Using forecasting techniques to predict demand and shipments
- Analyzing problems to identify root causes

**What You Bring to the Company**:
Your glowing personality AND:

- Post secondary education in Supply Chain Management - diploma/degree or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role (Whose kidding - you haven’t had a role opportunity like this, - but maybe and hopefully you have had a role with similar duties)
- Exceptional time management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional manner with ability to multi-task
- Ability to stay motivated and keep a positive attitude
