Woody's RV World Red Deer, Accounting Office is currently looking for a new Accounting Technician - Corporate Banking. As an integral part of the Woody’s RV World Ltd. accounting team, the Accounting Technician - Corporate Banking is responsible for the timely, accurate and efficient operation of the corporate banking accounting function and supporting Operational departments with their day-to-day accounting needs.

**Corporate Banking Support**:

- Prepares monthly bank reconciliations for all Canadian and foreign bank accounts to ensure reporting accuracy
- Has familiarity with and is comfortable navigating online corporate banking profiles
- Creates various forms of payment transactions using bank software, and at times assists Management with the posting of payment transactions in the system
- Completes, reconciles, and submits sales tax remittance forms and payments
- Reconciles company loans to monthly loan statements and posts journal entries in the system for all payment and interest transactions

**Cash Receipting Support**:

- Clearly understands cash processes, and confirms all payment transaction are recorded in the system promptly and accurately
- Performs posting and reconciliation of daily payment batches to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintains internal controls over the dealership petty cash process and handles cash responsibly ensuring proper record keeping and safekeeping

**Banking systems & Technology**:

- Works with dealerships to process electronic (Deposit Edge) and physical bank deposits to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Supports dealerships with retail level transaction issues, submits technical tickets to system providers and internal IT department
- Prior experience with point-of-sale systems is considered an asset, specific systems an software used include Integrated Dealer Systems (IDS), Clover, FiServ (First Data), and Gravity payments.

**Other duties**
- Respond to payment related queries from management, staff, banks, manufacturers and vendors as required
- Participate in the Accounting Month End process
- Participate in establishing proper internal controls, checks and balances to ensure the accuracy, accountability and integrity of the Accounting module in IDS
- Perform general ledger account analysis to identify errors and initiate correcting entries as required

- Provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries and requests from department managers and staff, Controller and CFO
- Utilize tools and resources available to complete job duties, problem solve independently, and collaboratively where appropriate
