We are looking for a **paw-sitively awesome full time receptionist** to join our team in Emerald Park - a quick **5 minute drive from the east end of Regina** Bring your love for animals and helping hands to a team that cares - one paw at a time

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Greet and check in clients and their patients
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries
- Assist with filing and organizing of medical records using our cloud based paperless medical record software
- Collect payments for services rendered
- Obtain histories for patient exams
- Assist veterinarians with exams and procedures as required
- Assist with laboratory tasks such as preparing samples for testing and running samples with IDEXX machines
- Assist with cleaning and restocking
- Inventory management

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for scheduling and record keeping
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus

- Typically a 4 day work week (10 hour shifts with a 1 hour paid lunch) - an extra day off each week However flexible schedule may be available.
