**Food and Beverage Manager - Winery**

We are currently seeking a Food and Beverage Manager at Adamo Estate Winery to provide oversight and leadership for the year-round management of all the winery hospitality services.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)**:

- Have a passion for wine and the Food and Beverage industry.
- Be a visible and hands on leader during service periods.
- Responsible for ensuring the overall success of the hospitality functions of Adamo Estate Winery including: A la carte dining, retail, and banquets/events.
- Be a coach for all employees while creating and nurturing a positive and fun work environment.
- Responsible for the creation of the yearly budget, capital expenditure list and business plan.
- Responsible for the profitability of the winery as a business; cost control and revenue generation are keys to success.
- Ensure all policies and procedures of Adamo Estate Winery are administered and adhered to.
- Ensure compliance with OHSA and AGCO.
- Ensure yearly employee appraisals are conducted.
- Implement and execute the training programs and SOPs for all new hires, conduct 1 week, 1 month, and 3 month probationary reviews
- Manages hourly payroll, performing daily edits and adjusting schedules as necessary.
- Attend and represent Adamo Estate Winery at trade shows and off site events when required to.
- Attends and participates in pertinent meetings (e.g. Daily Pre Shifts, BEO, Pre-Cons, Department Head Meetings)
- Grow and ensure the success of the Adamo Estate Wine Club. Including following up with existing clients to extend memberships and facilitating the execution and planning of the quarterly shipments to be made.
- Ability to use Excel, Word and Outlook with proficiency.

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- 3 + years’ experience in food and beverage operations. Banquet experience considered a highly valuable asset.
- Budgeting, financial, and business management experience an asset
- Formal wine training preferred.
