The Lead Hand is responsible for a variety of maintenance, cleaning and sanitation projects within West Edmonton Mall and various attractions.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Performing the daily cleaning and maintenance duties for West Edmonton Mall’s common areas, food courts, washrooms, attractions, and offices.
- Ensuring all set standards of cleanliness are adhered to at all times.
- Checking all areas for any deficiencies and damages, and reporting them to a Supervisor.
- Ensuring WHMIS guidelines are followed at all times.
- Other responsibilities as required.

**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Previous cleaning experience is an asset.
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently.
- The ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours a day.
- Excellent communication, and customer service skills complemented by a strong sense of professionalism and a keen eye for detail.

**TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT**:

- This is a full-time position that requires flexible availability Monday through Sunday, days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
