**Job Summary**:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for visual and measured inspection of parts to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all quality requirements. The QI will inspect incoming materials or parts throughout the manufacturing process, verify specified dimensions and other quality factors using measuring instruments and inspection equipment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review materials and supplies at receiving using product specifications and requirements to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Responsible for performing in-process and related reporting
- Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, and work practices for conformance to specifications utilizing materials such as drawings, standard operating procedures.
- Collect and record accurate data regarding defects.
- Accurately document the results of inspections to review and maintain quality of inspection records, enter any non-conformance or defects using electronic system.
- Multi-task and quickly shift priorities in support of production needs.
- Read and interpret blueprints with dimensions and specifications.
- Perform calibration for all gauges affecting finished goods in the plant and maintain the calibration log.
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations, may be involved in safety committees or initiatives
- Support implementation and maintenance of systems which support the overall quality and continuous improvement initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Quality Assurance certificate preferred
- American Society of Quality(ASQ)
- ‘Certified Quality Inspector’ OR ‘Certified Calibration Technician’ preferred
- Grade 12 education (mínimal)
