**The Role**

We are seeking a hands-on **Operations Manager - West** to oversee service and project delivery for our Municipal and Industrial clients across Western Canada. Based out of our Delta, BC office, you will be the pivot point for our western operations, ensuring that our projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the high standards our clients expect.

You will act as a key leader within the business, bridging the gap between strategic goals, business development and field execution. You will have significant autonomy to shape operational processes and lead your team, with the support of a company that values practical solutions and technical excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Project & Service Delivery**: Oversee and help execute day-to-day projects and service contracts for municipal and industrial clients throughout Western Canada. In the initial phase, these projects will primarily consist of wastewater flow monitoring, water and wastewater infrastructure inspection, municipal H2S, odour and corrosion control and industrial wastewater treatment.
- **Team Leadership**: Recruit, manage, mentor field staff and project teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance. Spend time in the field, primarily in BC and AB, with clients and BioMaxx team members working on project execution.
- **Client Relations**: Serve as a high-level point of contact for key clients, ensuring satisfaction and resolving operational escalations efficiently.
- **Resource Management**:Coordinate equipment, vehicles, inventory and logistics to ensure the field team has the resources they need to succeed.
- **Schedule Management**: Schedule team and project timelines based on client requirements and internal resource availability
- **Business Development Support**: Work closely with BioMaxx division heads, for Municipal and Industrial work, on business development initiatives. Attend trade shows and conferences and participate in client business development presentations
- **Safety Lead**: Be an ambassador for safety, and act as Health and Safety Representative for Management for Western Canada
- **Process Optimization**: Drive continuous improvement in operational workflows, helping to document and refine core processes.
- **Financial Oversight**: Monitor project budgets, job costing, and profitability, working to maximize efficiency across the region.

**Qualifications**
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management in a similar business environment.
- **Industry Background**: Ideally, you have a background in the **water/wastewater** industry or come from an industrial company serving municipal or industrial clients.
- **Location**: Must be based in or willing to commute to **Delta, BC**, with a requirement to be in the office at least 4 days per week.
- **Skills**: Strong organizational skills, proficiency in operational planning, and the ability to troubleshoot complex logístical challenges.
- **Leadership**: Proven ability to lead diverse teams, from field technicians to administrative support.

Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Operations management: 5 years (preferred)
