Assistant Grower

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Grower to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional plants to our customers

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the day-to-day operations in assigned sections of the greenhouse
- Operate and maintain greenhouse equipment, including irrigation systems, climate control systems, and lighting as directed by the Head Growers
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of plant inventory, growth progress, and environmental conditions
- Proactively monitor plant health and strategically problem solve
- Collaborate with the team to maintain an efficient, clean, and organized working environment
- Ensure compliance of overall sanitation standards and set a good example to other employees
- Stay up to date with industry trends, innovative technologies, and best practices in greenhouse production
- Maintain and adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Perform other tasks as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience or education in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field is required
- Knowledge of plant care principles, including watering, fertilizing, pruning, and pest management preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends, holidays, and variable hours based on seasonal demands
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with variable climate conditions including hot temperatures and humidity at times
