Production Assembler

Carleton Place, Canada Sideshift Inc. Full time

The Production Assembler is responsible for building and testing Sideshift’s products. The production assembler will work closely with Production Manager and Supervisor contributing in a meaningful way to our leadership team. The Production Assembler must be an innovative and self-motivated individual who works well with a team and under mínimal supervision.

**This job will include, but is not limited to, the following tasks**
- Align, fit and assemble component parts, using hand and power tools
- Pull parts for assembly components and to attentively complete builds
- Inspect, test and analyze finished assemblies, including debugging and fixing, as needed
- Handling of chemicals and solvents
- Run shipping twice a week - managing paperwork and packing orders
- Collaborate and contribute with Lead Production team as production floor and product continues to grow
- General production duties

**Preferred skills & experience**:

- Experience with various power and hand tools along with mechanical tools (impact driver, drill)
- Experience in manufacturing and shipping
- Experience with paperwork intake and execution
- Willing to learn and collaborate with other team members
- Able to stand for a long period of time, lift moderate weights without issue and multi-task
- Self-motivated

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
