Calgary, Canada Kova Engineering South Ltd. Full time

Kova Engineering South Ltd is currently seeking a full-time, entry-level field inspector in Calgary, Alberta. Preference will be given to applicants with non-destructive testing background (including MT, UT, or CWB), recent Engineering Technologist Graduates, 3+ years continuous full time work experience in industrial or construction related work, or previous lifting equipment inspection experience. Kova South will provide on the job training, job-related courses, and job-related certifications.

**The responsibilities of the successful applicant will include, but not be limited to the following**:

- Visual Inspections and NDE (Non-Destructive Examination) of cranes and other construction/oilfield equipment.
- Technical report writing.
- Maintain positive customer relations and participate in the promotion of the company.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Fast learner, strong work ethic, and desire to grow professionally.
- Self-motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Comfortable working outside, at heights, and in shop/industrial environments.
- Clean driving record.

**Work Hours**:

- Monday through Friday, 40 Hours per week (Salary).
- Majority of work will be in Calgary, Alberta.
- Intermittent out of town work. Typically, 20 to 30 days per year in various towns and cities around Southern Alberta.
- Occasional evening and weekend work will be required (Overtime).
