**EXCLUSIVE SALES AGENT**

Location**:Remote** | Reports to**:Business Development Manager** | Hours**:Full Time**

**SCOPE**:
A Nova Agent is responsible for supporting the
growth and maintenance of the Nova Sales Book.
The Agent is the face of Nova Mutual while out
in the community, participating in community
events and promoting Nova Mutual. It is the
responsibility of the Agent to stay up to date on
current insurance trends to ensure they are of
- fering the most comprehensive coverage to their
members.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:
University degree or college diploma.
- OTL licensed or obtained within 30 days.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License.
- Proven experience and success in sales roles.

Proactively responding to quote requests

and providing coverage recommendations
through a consultative approach.
- Building a business plan to grow the book

of business and implementing effective
strategies to close deals.
- Maximizing every sales encounter and

continually looking for opportunities to
expand accounts and keep clients informed
of coverage options.
- Completing frontline underwriting and

following the company’s underwriting
guidelines.
- Consistently achieving monthly sales targets

and complying with business quality targets.
